Recent University of Alaska graduate Wesley Schaefer introduces “lower 48” audiences to the cultural phenomenon of dog-sleigh racing.  Comeback Chronicles documents the 2013 Iditarod, AK race billed as the “Last Great Race on Earth.” Schaefer’s photographic essay focuses on the bond between the racer and his sleigh dogs.  For details, click here.
